Depart. of Economics

The Department of Economics offers undergraduate, graduate studies and doctoral and postdoctoral research, providing opportunities for participation in original research activity. The undergraduate studies curriculum is based in two directions: Economic Analysis and Business Administration. It offers 3 postgraduate programs in: Business Administration (MBA), Financial Technology (FINTEC) and Supply Chain Management and Logistics (SCM) and it participates in 3 joind postgraduate programs in: Local and Regional Development, Contemporary European Studies, Project Management. Doctoral research (Ph.D) is provided, with a significant number of doctoral and postdoctoral candidates producing recognizable research. There are 2 institutionalized research laboratories: the Lab of Emerging Methodologies in Economics and Finance (AMOX) and the Lab of Management, Governance, Business Intelligence, Corporate Strategy and Ethics, Infrastructure, Network and Supply Chain Management Companies (MaGBISE). The graduates are represented in almost all areas of economics and administration. Many faculty members have distinguished footprint in actions delivered to the private and public sector.
