The Alumni Association of Democritus University of Thrace (AA-DUTH) is a vibrant community connecting thousands of graduates who share a common starting point but have followed diverse paths and goals.
The Association aims to actively support the academic and professional development of its members, while also promoting the role of DUTH in society, research, and culture.
Through its activities, the Association strengthens ties among alumni and between alumni and the University that shaped them, both academically and personally. It strives to be a living network of continuous learning, creative interaction, and inspiration, actively supporting the smooth transition of graduates into the job market and enhancing their professional identity.
The key objectives of the DUTH Alumni Association include:
- Maintaining, nurturing, and strengthening relationships among DUTH graduates
- Supporting the academic and professional advancement of its members
- Facilitating alumni access to the job market and offering opportunities for academic, professional, and social collaboration
- Creating opportunities for networking among members and with established professionals, while fostering connections with other academic institutions and associations
- Organising and supporting Lifelong Learning programmes
- Keeping members informed about news and developments at DUTH
- Promoting and supporting the work of Democritus University of Thrace as a pillar of quality, excellence, and social contribution
