Strategic Planning Committee

The Strategic Planning Committee was established by Decision No. 6/26/27-6-2024 of the Governing Council of the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH). Among its responsibilities, the Committee is tasked with drafting a proposal for the university's strategic plan regarding the academic and research development of DUTH, in alignment with the National Strategy for Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, as well as the European and international strategies in the field of higher education. This is undertaken through the analysis and evaluation of all data and indicators concerning the academic, research, and administrative units and structures of the Institution, as provided by law. The term of the Committee is four years, running concurrently with the term of the Rector of DUTH. The Executive Director of the University and the Head of the Strategic Planning Unit participate in Committee meetings without voting rights.
