School of Engineering

The Department of Environmental Engineering educates future Graduate Engineers in the design, construction, operation and management of modern infrastructures for the conservation of the planet’s critical natural capital, which is essential for meeting the needs of both present and future societies. The main areas of specialization of environmental engineers focus on wastewater and solid waste management, air pollution control, renewable energy production technologies, water resources management, energy management and environmental management for sustainable development.
