Centre for Teaching and Learning

The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL-DUTH) operates as a Centre within DUTH with the mission of providing support services, strengthening and continuously improving teaching and learning processes in line with modern pedagogical trends. It also focuses on the integration of new technologies in teaching, aiming to develop distance education and to consistently ensure the provision of high-quality instruction.

The purpose of the CTL-DUTH is to promote University Pedagogy through actions aimed at creating a community of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement of teaching at DUTH. It supports academic staff in exchanging and developing good teaching and learning practices, identifying their needs, reflecting critically, and developing modern and effective educational initiatives. This includes the integration of ICT in the teaching of university courses in order to create learning environments that best facilitate and support student learning.

The CTL-DUTH was initially established as the Teaching Support Office by Government Gazette 2468/B/24-6-2019 and was renamed by Government Gazette 6988/B/31-12-2022.
