Governing Council
The Governing Council plays a pivotal role in the governance of the institution. Its responsibilities include the strategic development of the university, the approval of the budget, and the evaluation of both academic and administrative operations. It also oversees transparency and accountability in decision-making processes and participates in the selection of key administrative staff. The primary aim of the Council is to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the institution.
The Governing Council of DUTH is composed of eleven (11) members, of which six are internal and five external. The Council exercises the powers defined by national legislation and the Internal Regulations of DUTH.
