Faculty of Social, Political and Economic Sciences

The Faculty of Social, Political and Economic Sciences (FSPES – DUTH) is one of the 10 Faculties of DUTH which consists of four (4) Departments: The Department of Social Work, The Department of Social Policy, The Department of Political Science and the Department of Economic Sciences. All departments offer a high level of studies, research and practicums through the implementation of their updated Programs of Studies that strictly follow the international standards in the fields of study. Additionally, all programs have undergone the accreditation process via the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE) and were marked with “Fully compliance” accordingly. Finally, as for today, FSPES – DUTH includes 49 members of teaching staff, 8 members of administration staff, and receives 760 students on average each year via the Hellenic National Exams system. Our graduates find working positions quickly and appear to have reasonable fast scientific and professional development.
