Research Ethics Committee
The Research Ethics and Deontology Committee is established and operates within every Higher Education Institution in order to provide ethical and deontological assurance regarding the reliability of research projects conducted therein. The mission of the REC of DUTH (REC-DUTH) is twofold:
- To inform and raise awareness among members of the university community on issues of bioethics and ethical reflection, and
- To assist in aligning the University's research practices with current legislation, European Union directives, and international laws and guidelines regarding bioethics and the ethically sound conduct of scientific research.
