Quality Assurance Committee (QAC)
The Quality Assurance Committee was established by Senate Decision No. ΔΠΘ/ΑΔΥΚΔ/ΣΥΓΚ/65361/6062/1329/28-08-2024. Among other responsibilities, the QAC is entrusted with the development and implementation of measures to ensure and improve the quality of all educational, research, and administrative activities offered by DUTH. Student Representatives Until the formation of the Student Council, the Committee will convene without student representation, in accordance with Article 43 of Law 4957/2022 ("Student Council"). Representatives of Visiting Professors, Adjunct Lecturers, Visiting Researchers, and Contract Researchers Not yet appointed. Representatives from undergraduate/postgraduate students and the above-mentioned academic categories are elected annually and have voting rights on matters relevant to their roles. Term of Office The term of office of the Quality Assurance Committee is five years. The following may participate in Committee meetings without voting rights:
- The Head of the Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP-DUTH), and
- The Executive Director of DUTH, if appointed.
