Oil and Gas Technology

Τhe only Master’s Program in Europe that combines business administration in the petroleum industry with the Science and Engineering of Oil and Gas exploration and production. It remains at the forefront of developments by offering a 90 ECTS curriculum delivered over three academic semesters:

1st Semester: Master in Business Administration (MBA) courses focused on the oil and gas sector.
2nd Semester: Petroleum Engineering (MEng) courses, complemented by hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry.
3rd Semester: Master’s thesis research and dissertation.

Students are enrolled as members of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and engage in research and development activities in collaboration with the Petroleum Institute, which operates under the University Research Center of the Democritus University of Thrace.

The programme provides students with access to advanced training and certification facilities, including:

– A state-of-the-art DS-5000 Drilling Simulator.
– A Virtual Crisis Control Room for oil and gas industry operations management.
– Access to advanced laboratory equipment for petroleum and natural gas engineering applications.
