The Department of Physics at Democritus University of Thrace covers a broad spectrum of both fundamental and applied areas of Physics, ranging from Quantum and Astrophysics to Nuclear, Particle, and Condensed Matter Physics, with applications in fields such as telecommunications, biomedicine, microelectronics, computing, nanotechnology, and other innovative technological sectors.
