The Department of Production Engineering and Management provides high-level education that combines engineering with management sciences, preparing engineers with a holistic approach to the design, operation and optimization of production and organizational systems, cultivates analysis, innovation and decision-making skills so that graduates are able to face complex problems in industrial and business environments, promotes research and technological development in the fields of production, management, supply chain, sustainability and Industry 4.0. through collaboration with businesses, public bodies and research centers and prepares professionals with social responsibility, environmental awareness and adaptability to technological and economic developments. The graduates of the Department of Production and Management Engineering are registered at the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Register of Contractors’ Enterprises and can pursue careers in positions of high responsibility in the public and private sectors as well as in national or international organizations.
