Staff Board Composition
The composition of the Administrative Staff Board is required based on the following provisions:
- par. 3, article 30, Law 4369/2016 (33 A) ‘Upon decision by the responsible Minister, Staff boards are formed…the Boards consist of 5 members, i.e. a) Three (3) regular employees that perform duties of a Principal Officer in a Directorate… b) two (2) elected delegates of the employees…’ in combination with the provisions made by article 72, Law 4370/2016 (37 A) and of article 171, Law 4389/2016 (94 A).

- Rector’s Act no. DUTH/DDK/32640/01.03.2018 on the Staff Board Reformulation and on the selection process and the assignment to posts of Principal Officers in Directorates following the provisions made in the articles 84-86 of the Service Code.
Staff Board Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Administrative Staff Board are defined based on the provisions made in:

- Article 68, par. 2 ‘Secondment’
- Article 69, par. 1, Law 3528/2007 ‘Transfer from one branch to another of the same category’

- Article 71, Law 3528/2007 ‘Transfer to another Ministry or public service or to public law bodies and institutions’
- Article 83, Law 3528/2007 ‘Promotional Charts’
- Article 89, Law 3528/2007 ‘Selection Process of Principal Officers in Organic Units’, par 2. ‘The selection process of principal officers in Directorates of a corresponding or intermediate-level organic unit, of Departments and independent offices is carried out by staff boards…’
- Article 153, Law 3528/2007 ‘Dismissal due to physical or mental disability’
- Article 154, Law 3528/2007 ‘Dismissal due to redundancy’
- Presidential Decree 69/2016 ‘Recognition of service outside the public sector’

- The Reformulation of the Administrative Staff Board of the Institution was realized following the Senate’s decision no. 51/54/15 in February 2018.
