D.U.Th. Senate in its meeting on September 20th 2018 has decided to nominate the Financial and Administrative Support Unit (FASU) of the Special Account for Research Grants at Democritus University of Thrace as an Institutional Unit of independent administration (no. of Senate’s decision 77). The Unit provides its services in all D.U.Th. campuses, is fully accountable to the Vice-Rector of Research and Lifelong Education and has the following organizational structure:

1. Department of Information System Security and Management
2. Department of Accounting and Financial Transactions
3. Department of Administrative Transactions
4. Department of Goods and Services Supplies
5. Department of Project Planning and Research Outcomes
6. Protocol Office
7. Legal Support Office
